Potrero Hill Potrero Hill is a residential neighborhood in San Francisco, California. It is known for its views of the San Francisco Bay and city skyline, its close proximity to many destination spots, its sunny weather, and for having two freeways and a Caltrain station. A working-class neighborhood until gentrification in the 1990s, it is now an upper-middle-class, family-oriented neighborhood.

House was custom built 1953 in the Mid-Century Modern style.The ceilings in the main living room, Dining Room and Kitchen are Wood with Custom Skylights to allow more light. The house is fully detached. There is a void on all sides of the structure. The front deck is exclusive to this house. The eastern view of San Francisco Bay and Downtown San Francisco, Bay Bridge and East Bay Hills is very unique. The deck is large and with the house protecting the deck from the Westerly winds, this is a very comforting area to relax and enjoy the view with privacy from the street noise.
There is shopping and restaurants located one block down the hill. Two blocks to the south there is more shopping, public library, dry cleaners and a full grocery store. Several other stores for food and drink items are on 20th street as well as a another great Cafe. Hair and nail salons also are on this block.
Several bus lines are in the area, close to 101 freeway, 280 and the Bay Bridge. Cal Trans station is blocks away. Many residents commute daily and use this Cal TraIns station.
